Thanks a latke. God bless Michael Bolton and Kenny G. Had those performers doing carols not send Paul Libman over the edge, we would not have "Oy to the World: A Klezmer Christmas." Libman a Chicago producer of music for advertising and movies, decided he'd had enough of the usual stuff and came up with "Oy." Musicians he's worked with -- including Fareed Haque, Johnny Frigo, Arnie Roth and Bobby Lewis -- signed onto the CD as the Klezmonauts, putting a klezmer spin on 10 tunes from "Deck the Halls" to "Jingle Bells." "It's a cross between 'Fiddler on the Roof' and 'Weird Al Yankovic" Libman tells us "I was originally afraid people would be offended, but the response has been the opposite."
